Quickbooks Validation Code?

So my friend gave me her version of quickbooks 2010 and I have the Registration Key and Product number but when I called to get the validation code, she said she would not be able to provide me with one. Does anyone know how I can get the validation code so i do not loose all of my work I have already entered on quickbooks 2010 version?

Your friend needs to give you the validation code she got from Intuit when she registered the product.

She can also call Intuit and get it from them. Have her tell them she is moving the program to a new computer and can't find the validation code from before.
