I need help in getting setup to transfer into QuickBooks. I use
Discover and a Visa card. I can download into a "QIF" or a "COMMA
DELIOMITED" or "EXCEL" file. But I cannot see how to import into
QuickBooks. My Discover does not allow me to download to anything but
"Quicken"..... NOT "QUICKBOOKS"!!!!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Re: Transfer of Discover (and other charge card) statements to QuickBooks 2005
The ability to download transaction data into a specific accounting or
personal finance package is a service of the individual credit card
provider.
From what you state, Discover card does not offer you the option to download
Discover card purchase/payment transactions into QuickBooks.
You have two options:
You may use the time-honored method of entering your charge card data when
the statement comes in.
You may change credit card providers. Be sure, if you do, that you let
Discover know WHY you are changing.
