business vs personal categories

Had to upgrade my old Quicken to Quicken 2008 because of an operating system change (vista 32 to vista 64). But in the new version, all of my company expense and income categories have been moved into the "personal" type and a bunch of new, useless ones are in the "business" type. I can't find any way to convert the personal stuff to business, and I've even tried the brute force approach of adding new business type categories with the old names... but Q blocks this by not allowing me to have duplicate names. What am I missing here? In the past, I've used one set of files for my personal stuff and a different set for my business, and have been religious about not letting them get mixed up.

I found that if I changed the Tax Line Item to one that belongs to schedule C that the category automatically was moved to the Business expense or income category. I don't know if that is the correct way of doing it but it worked for me.
