Quicken H&B 2010 and Windows 7.
In some scheduled bills I can change the amount. In others the amount is grayed out and cannot be changed but other fields can be changed.
Help is appreciated.

I apologize if this is a repeat post. I'm having problems with my newsreader (WILMA).

I have had the same problem. Hope we get some anwers here.
Wishing us luck....
Well, I'm not using H&B 2010, so this is a pure guess. You might check and see if the Scheduled Bills that are grayed out are tied to some other entry such as a loan. Or possibly are locked in the Memorized Payee List or are listed in the Billminder. Like I said, just some guesses. HTH. Rob C
Duh.... The one's that are locked are "split payments". Naturally they have to be changed on the "Split Payment" drop down window.
It's hell to get old.
One reason for the amount to be grayed out is that the transaction is a split transaction. If that is case, you need to click the "Split" button alongside the "Category" field (near the bottom-left of the dialog box), in order to get at the split lines to edit their amounts.
Sorry, I failed to notice that this question had been posted twice ... and the second posting was answered by you.
