Online Backup LW112 Error

Started getting an LW112 error the other day whenever I try to do an online backup.

Quicken support site says cause can be lack of hard drive space, but I have over 20.9 Gb free.

Anyone else having this problem?

Same here. Since nothing has changed on my end, and like you I have plenty of free disk space, suspect the problem is at their end. I would give it a few days before I get too concerned,

Good to hear that I'm not alone. Like you I don't know of any changes on my end that would effect this. I did try to do a backup from the main backup program (rather than through Quicken) and got a different error -- RW112 rather than LW112. The Quicken support site says that the RW error indicates a remote (ie. on their end) problem. An email to Quicken support resulted in someone in India telling me to uninstall and re-install the backup software; then boot in safe mode; then ... Just a canned non-specific response that I don't consider very helpful. Like you I plan to wait a few days and see if things don't get better.

Just tried the online backup again -- worked fine! And I didn't have to re-install the program -- just had to be patient for a day or two.

Working fine for me now too. Unfortunately, the last thing you want to do is anything those knuckleheads from the India "help" desk tells you to do. "Help Desk" in this case is truly an oxymoron!
