Q2012 Tax Planner - how to hide accts?

Using Quicken 2012 - Wanted to take a high level quick view of what our taxes for 2014 might look like. We have a lot of Interest Income, Dividends, and Cap Gains.

One thing that is missing with Tax Planner - is the ability to NOT select/include certain accounts... I can do this for "Net Worth" and can de-select them for certain Reports, but there doesn't seem to be a way to ignore/hide certain accounts for the Tax Planner.

I happen to have a couple of accounts that I review/monitor for family and our team sports, and they are marked as "hide" for Net Worth, and not included when creating various reports.

Can't find a way to hide/exclude them in Tax Planner.

Those accounts should be in a seperate file NOT in your file and then there would be no problem.

I concur with Zaidy036. A Q data file should contain info for a single tax entity. I count, by your description, at least 4 tax entities and maybe more.
