A term life question

kastnna - the email address you sent me bounced as a bad address.

On my site, I remarked that the cost of $500K term life insurance for a

60 year old was 'about $1200'. This was in the larger context of my suggestion that the mortality value contained within a VA certainly didn't need to cover the entire investment, an insurance policy covering half of the value of one's stock holdings would likely be enough. You asked where I came up with this number ($1200), it was from
formatting link
which is available in about 17 states, and happens to be headquartered in Massachusetts where I live. It's one of the few sites that offers a quote without having to fill in any personal info, just age and some general physical/health details. Again, this was just an example, and does not address the 'uninsurable' due to age or health.
