Hello all,
I have a Vanguard Roth account and am interested in adding individual stocks to my retirement account portfoilio. Currently, I am invested in 4 different index funds in which I get a good asset allocation. Does it make good sense to use my Vanguard account to hold these individual stocks or should I open another Roth account through a discount broker to hold individual stock?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of either option?
