0.25% Escrow Waiver Fee deductible?

Sanity checking which mortgage fees are deductible as "points" (OID).



I'm pretty sure that the 1% "Loan Origination Fee" is, but what about a



0.25% "Escrow Waiver Fee"?

The buyer generally can deduct HUD-1 Form Lines 801 and 802 only, as points.
