3 leg flight, personal/business. How to deduct?

I took a flight from city A (where I live), to city B (for a wedding), to city C (to interview for a job), then back to city A.

Can I deduct any of this as a job search expense? I booked A to B with a voucher. Paid for B to C in cash. Booked C to A with a voucher.

I figured it would simplify things if I just deducted the cost of B to C, even though it might understate my deduction....

Can I do this?

You can deduct, or at least report - whether you get the deduction is a matter of math and the misc itemized deduction limitations and rules - the amount you PAID which was related to your job search. From your post that would be the cash you paid from B to C. By voucher I am assuming you mean you used accumulated miles or points or some other such thing, in which case you did NOT PAY so there is no deduction.

Adding to Gene's response, another ceiling on your deduction is the cost of direct round-trip between A and C at that same time.
