Annoy flaw in Gainskeeper, or maybe TT, or maybe Ameritrade

This flaw has been an annoyance for the last few years; it may or may not have been fixed for 2014. I'll know soon.

Here's the deal. I trade stocks/options on Ameritrade. Many of my trades involve just selling naked puts and/or calls. In many of these cases (about 75-100 per year) they expire worthless. So my cost basis is ZERO.

I import Gainskeeper 1099-B into TT. All looks well until I am ready to file electronically. I do my final error check and each of these trades is flagged as an error (no cost basis given). I have to go through each one and enter $0.00. It's annoying.

Is there some way to circumvent this issue? If Gainskeeper would transfer $0.00 instead of a blank, all would be well. Maybe it's Ameritrade that's the issue. Thoughts. (I plan to do the import into TT this weekend)
