I am reseaching personal income tax in Greece and wonder if anyone could help me with a question I have on Greece tax bands? I know the tax-free portion is €11,000 and that a rate of
15% is charged on the next €2,000 so that makes the first
2 bands as follows:
0-11,000 : 0%
11,000-13,000 : 15%
For a couple with 1 child, I understand that the tax-free limit is increased by €1,000 to €12,000 but does that mean that 15% is still due on the next €2,000 or does the next band remain at €13,000? i.e.
are the bands
0-12,000 : 0%
12,000-13,000 : 15% ? or
0-12,000 : 0%
12,000-14,000 : 15% ?
