Conversion of 2010 non-deductible IRA to Roth

I made a contribution to my 2010 non-deductible IRA earlier this year and shortly thereafter I converted the entire amount to a Roth IRA.

When doing my taxes in Turbo Tax and also while looking at the forms, I am only asked for the total amount in the Traditional IRA in 2009, and then 2010. The 2009 part doesn't include the contribution for 2010, and at the end of 2010 the value of the Traditional IRA is 0.

So, did I make the conversion a little too early, or is there some other way to handle this?

Thanks, Anoop

I think I figured it out...I had to go to a different place in Turbo Tax to enter my non-deductible IRA contributions for 2010 and then everything magically fixed itself.

Also spoke to a rep at my IRA's custodian and he said that what I did was perfectly fine.

Thanks, Anoop
