I currently work full time. I am also a photographer and I wish to do this as a sideline. If I register as a self employed photographer, as well as staying in my current job, would I get a tax rebate? would it be all of my last years tax? as this would help me invest in some essential equipment that I would need.
No. The goal in a business is to make money so you pay more tax, not less. You really should invest first in consultations with a lawyer and an accountant to make sure you have everything properly organized. It will be money well spent.
