I paid X into a HCRA in 2007, incurred and paid unreimbursed medical expenses >X in 2007, and will be reimbursed for those expenses from the HCRA in 2008. My question: do I subtract the HCRA reimbursement from my 2007 medical expenses, or from my 2008 medical expenses?
