HSA distributions

Are tax free distributions from an HSA used for qualified medical expenses able to be used on Sched. A for medical deductions.

No. The HSA contributions were deducted when made.

No. The HSA contributions were deducted when made. ======= Furthermore, any expense paid or reimbursed from an HSA is NOT permitted to be a Schedule A medical deduction. However, one can reimburse medical expenses for years where the 7.5%/10% of AGI floor was not reached without any problems, assuming that the year in question is a year where an open HSA exists. Note that in such a case, some expenses may not be reimbursable under the HSA rules.
