Brother and sibling have a joint checking account. Sibling's Socials security and pension checks were automatically deposited to the account .
Sibling died on 2/11/07. Shortly after that date both types of these checks were deposited to the account.
Social security and payer of pension were informed of sibling's death.
Both the 2007 SSA-1099 and the 1099R forms received are in the sibling's name.
I was under the impression that two copies of each of these forms would be issued - one in siblings name for funds received prior to death - and one for the sibling's estate for funds received on date of death and after
