Letter for Charitable Contribution

For a charitable cash contribution of over $250, does a receipt which includes the statement that you received no tangible benefit satisfy the requirement for a written acknowledgment?

Assuming it also identifies the organization and states the amount of the contribution, yes. See Publication 526.
