TurboTax vs TaxCut

Well, in all fairness, I should admit that I went to bed last night (early this morning) in a pretty foul mood because of Tax Cut, but after a pretty good nights rest, I got up this morning determined to "ride the bull" today and not "let the bull ride me"! Since my tax program is not very complicated, and not many changes from last year, I decided to blow off the Tax Cut easy route and take a different approach. I moved through it, form by form (had to struggle with a few to get them to take the data) but now I feel a little better about it once I got the hang of it. I'm almost finished (awaiting a couple of K1s, which should be a piece of cake) and think it's pretty clean. I haven't run the final check and that may blow it, but as I say, I feel a lot better about it. I guess if I hadn't been accustomed to Turbo Tax, I wouldn't have had so much heart burn. However, I am not a convert and will return to TurboTax next year! I still think it's a lot clearer and easier to follow!! I guess its a lot like living with a woman, after 20 or 25 years you tend to overlook the shortcomings.
