Greetings

Lawyer practices real estate law, litigation, etc..

What would be the journal entries for the following transactions in a law firm?

Lawyers uses the accrual method of accounting

1) Lawyer makes a payment of $800 to register a company?

2) Lawyer pays Government for transfer of title?

3) Lawyer pays a client $3000.00 in relation to a law suit

4) Lawyer pays client $10,000 back after selling a property

5) Client withdrawal of $20,000.00

Cheers

There's no way to know how to properly record these transactions without knowing the underlying event that gave rise to the payment. It would be helpful to see a chart of accounts as well.

Or - we can guess.
