Hi
I am currently enrolled in the first year CGA program. I have take several accounting courses ( back in highschool ) plus some business admin courses in College.
I am half way done the first Book of the CGA program. I feel quite confident on doing the basic book keeping etc.
I see jobs listed in the paper all the time for first year CGA student, but i am not too sure if its too early to apply.
As mentioned i feel quite confident with the basic book keeping duties , balance sheet, income summary, Journal entries etc.. However I do not know if its too early to apply.
My previous back ground is 7 years of being involved in the I.T field but have decided to jump into accounting.
please advise.
