bond issues

News is obam wants to tax corp debt higher to pay for a lower corp income tax. If so what does this do owners of existing bonds, such as value and yield of lqd?

Also are there any funds of puerto rican bonds, which are triple tax free? They have 4 ish yields as is suited for the shakey greece of america, but still an etf of tax free territorial bonds could be sweet. Some types of their bonds are said to be good bets, or at worst bail outable by the feds.

Yes! One of my favorite funds, as it serves as a counterexample to the thesis that there's a noload equivalent for every load fund.

Franklin Double Tax-Free Income Fund.

3 Technically it can invest in bonds from all territories, but pragmatically is effectively a PR bond fund.

Recognize:

1) PR has a worse rating than any state, including Illinois, Michigan, etc. 2) PR bonds have already come back from being priced at 80c on the dollar to full face value. (I own some PR bonds, so I'm acutely aware of this.)
