I have a few older stocks on my (and my son's) Schwab accounts that are missing their cost basis, and I have to manually update their entries....
Was wondering what you might have found with your accounts, with respect to how far back did the brokerage houses have the cost basis info in the database.
My missing ones were:
Apple - 1984 Ameritech -> ATT -> 1998 Cisco - 1991 & 1996 Compaq -> HPQ -> 1984 Lilly - 1994 McD - 1990 Starbucks - 1993 Bell Atlantic -> Verizon - 1988 Disney - 1992 Fisher Price -> Mattel - 1991
