Google Financial Question ?

Hello,

Am in my 70's now, and would be grateful for some help.

Years ago, I used Google Financial to at least try to keep up with a modest portfolio. Haven't played with it, though, for at least the last

5 years, but would like to get started again with it.

They sure have changed the format of it, a lot.

Can't find anymore the one or two Portfolios I created back then, or the "view" I think I used which I believe was called "Summary View".

Does this "View" still exist in this new version ? Any way of seeing again my "old" Portfolios that I created back then ?

I imagine many of you folks use Google Financial.

Rather than bother you with more questions on it, is there a good active Forum specifically for Google Financial anywhere ?

Looked in Yahoo Groups, but there seem to be hundreds if not thousands of Groups with these kind of names.

Any specific ones anywhere you might suggest that are dedicated to Google Financial and how to use, etc. ?

Thanks, Bob

Hmm, I popped into google finance and was surprised to see an old portfolio of mine there there. I had abandoned yahoo finance portfolio some time ago in favor of a very stripped down but useful android app "stock watcher", but now I may have to start up again with google. Both of them have hidden features that you just find by poking around or clicking on things not obviously clickable. I like to sort by performance, and roll thru price charts without extra clicks.

I think most folks use a consolidator tool from their brokerage which can also pull in outside accounts. There used to be fancy standalone web sites that would do this. Simple sites where you have to enter all data are what you seem to be talking about. I hated the changes yahoo introduced; the new google one looks better although doesn't have a PEG filter on their stock screener (my brokerage screener still handles them backwards, even after they acknowledged my complaint).
