Hi

I use Yahoo to download price information directly to a spreadsheet using it's quotes.csv option:

" etc.. This is a fantastic service except it doesn't appear to have data for the OFEX list, or am I missing something?

  1. Is there a web site offering a similar system to Yahoo with OFEX?

I've had a quick look at Google Finance.

2.How do I get a quote for uk based stocks?

All I get if I search, for say M&S is a report/synopsis of the previous year.

  1. Does Google offer the same .csv option?

Thanks for your help

I think the only place you will find OFEX data is on OFEX itself

Yahoo & Google's data supplier get a feed directly from the London Stock Exchange.

However, OFEX is a completely seperate trading facility, and they don't use the TIDM symbols as far as I am aware, which is the common way to track listed securities.

If you are technically minded, you can crawl Yahoo Finances site and write values for any security to a database.
