Requesting Help: Getting Stock Quote Data into Quicken 2005

My delimma:

I'm unable to consistently get one-step-updates for stock quotes without Quicken crashing on me. I've gone through Intuit's tech support - reinstalling Quicken, validating, super-validating, etc.. none of which has resolved my problem.

I came across a post which suggested that stock quotes could be imported into Quicken from Yahoo. So, I went to Yahoo Finance and found a Download Spreadsheet link which allows you to save your stock quote information to a .csv file. How do I get this into Quicken?

If this won't work, is there another way to get stock quotes into some type of file and then import the data into Quicken?

*I am concerned with my privacy and have decided not to keep my account data on Quicken.com.

If you can provide some help, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks, Ed

You guys probably know this already but I just realized that if you go to

Investing -> Portfolio

and then

File -> Import -> Import Prices

and then point to the .csv file with your stock quotes this should work.

Note that the option to import prices is not available directly from the main screen when Quicken loads. For example, launch Quicken and then go to File -> Import. Import prices isn't shown..

Anyway, I'll give a shot tomorrow.

Thanks, Ed
