I'm wondering if there's anything that needs to be created for anyone who studies finance (personal or otherwise) along the lines of the things you see at
I would like to see an investment simulator that considers the uncertainty in achieving goals. As an example for a given portfolio size and distribution (between stock and bonds), withdrawal rate and age, the simulator would calculate the probability that you money will last your lifetime.
I would like to see a similar simulator for the game of craps. Is it better to bet the incremental chip on "odds" (behind the line) which increases return or "come" which reduces risk.
