If a fund yields (say 2.00%) does that mean you could tell them to send you the yield each quarter as income?
Some funds, income types, yes. Or you can simply withdraw 2% or however much you want out of the fund, however frequently you want to. Often that 2% is not a guaranteed, but just an average (past performance does not...etc.).
