I'm trying to decide between QuickBooks and Peachtree Complete; I'd rather avoid the hidden double-entry of QuickBooks and all the irrelevant features added to the program. However, the Amazon Reviews say that 2008 is very slow. Is this true?

I think its slightly slower to load than earlier Peachtree versions, but unless you have very little RAM and LOTS of data, you shouldn't notice much in the way of general performance.
