MRMS 2.0 - SALES RETURN

Hi Mates,

We are using MRMS 2.0 and we do add the serial number of the items while selling the product.

We do the sales return by recall function. We recall the invoice , the items to be returned comes in red and we invoice the ones the customer is purchasing against the sales return below on the same window and issue the invoice.

The serial number of the item which is returned is not getting captured into the database. Issue also comes when we try to resell the item which is returned. System popus up the message the item already sold.

Well if i was in your situation I would take these steps...

1) check to see if you are on the latest version and hotfix for your product. If you are not on the latest hotfix version, then perhaps there is already a fix and requires you to apply the service packs and/or hotfixes. you can research what has been fixed in service packs/hotfixes from the documentation that is available online.

2) If you are already on the latest service pack and/or hotfix, then open a case with microsoft and submit this issue as a bug in the software.

In my opinion, if you return a serial item, it should put that serial number back into your invenotry to be resold.
