We have a Compaq running XP that keeps losing its settings for placement when the machines restarts. For example the Transaction screen comes up with -4, -4 and a full screen setting and the Touchscreen is "hidden" under it. The settings I put on them are nowhere to be seen. Any ideas. We are running a few Dells and do not have this issue with other terminals. Thx in advance.

Heather, Likely, the windows user you are logged in on does not have write access to the registry. RMS keeps its settings for the screen in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Retail Management System\Store Operations\POSUser and its sub keys. Make sure the user has write access to this key, or you are logged in as an administrator, and the settings should stick.
