Hi We have five stores. We are running RMS2.0 Headquarters. We are looking for a solution to be able to do transaction at one store (customer pays for a merchandise) but he picks up the merchandise at the warehosue. How can we do it in RMS?
Hi Anna - you can't do this with RMS - you will need an add-on (I think retail realm has an add-on that will allow you to do this) - in the meantime, you will need to handle this manually
- use shift f9 details to indicate and record customer will pick up at the warehouse
- sell the item at the store (qty will go to minus one)
- fax a copy of the transaction to the warehouse so they can set the item apart while the customer goes for pickup
- when customer arrives at warehouse, he/she can show original receipt which warehouse can cross-reference with your faxed copy - warehouse will then turn over item to customer - customer can sign warehouse copy of receipt confirming pickup
- warehouse will then do a transfer out for the item, so their qty gets deducted by > Hi
