I'm reconsiling the accounts and the first window gives me the option to add interest earned. But I've got bank interest to pay. How do I enter this?

If the account you are reconciling is type "bank" - then the options in the window are Service Charge and Interest earned.
If the account you are reconciling is type "credit" - then you have an option to enter Finance charges.
You have the opportunity to select the account(s) the charges are posted to.
