1099-div unlikely "corrected" this cycle?

A few years ago the dividend reporting was so complex that many brokerages issued one or two corrections, even late against the 4/15 deadline. Is that unlikely this year? I think I did not see it last year.

Reason for the question is whether to delay downloading 1099 into tax software. My software was very unforgiving about handling corrections... got snarled up with more duplicate records than it was designed for, before it could start eliminating. thx

Could feed it in, save the file as something and then when the 1099s come in start from scratch if there are big changes. Over the years, at least with Schwab, I have been getting one early and then late Feb/Early March that was the final. This year they just waited until about a week to send it.

Another reason to not start feeding forms early may be a figment of my imagination. Online turbotax gives you a deadline for getting taxes finished before a significant fee rise. It would be very reasonable if that was a fixed number of days/weeks before Apr 15. But every year I start earlier and the deadline gets ridiculously earlier, and I am beginning to suspect it is set to a fixed number of days/weeks after you boot up Turbotax!

If so, this is very unfair to those who are willing to start early and cannot bear paying the "late fee", especially for factors that are out of their control. True? I am kind of stuck with online TT for reasons I won't dwell on here.
