Can a truck driver deduct meals at per diem rate for 263 days on the road in one year? If it were a smaller number of days I would not even be questioning this. It is just that this is a very large deduction, but I don't see why we would not be able to take this. Please respond. Thanks
Sounds like a lot I know, but in reality there are a rather large number of truckers who are out on the road even longer than that. If the log books document that time, then run with it and legally.
