When calculating AMT taxes, does LTCG retains its preferential rates?
e.g. Let's say I have a $2 mil. LTCG and have no other income. Will I be paying 0-20% + 3.8% (NII) tax on the LTCG? Or 26-28%?

When there was a Federal AMT, yes, although the boundaries for 0%/15%/20% differed.
