I have a small business and my german nice will come and live with me for one year to go to school here. Can she work in my business to make a little money? Can I deduct it from my business. If yes, can she get a some kind of work permit and where do I get it. I live in New Mexico.

Step one is to get an answer to this question, which has nothing to do with taxes. It will depend on her visa status. I'm pretty sure that this falls under the Dept. of Homeland Security nowadays. You might try their website.

is a good portal to any governmental site you don't have a URL for.

Depends on if her Visa allows it. My guess is not.

There's a lawyer friend of mine (just one I swear) who says you *can* do anything you want. It's a matter of when you get caught, was the risk -v- reward worth it?

Have her check with her Consulate about her being able to work.
