Form 1099 -- Which Form to Use

I received a 1099 from the IRSin 2007. It represents the interest I received as a result of filing a 1040-X for a prior tax year. I have been unable to find where I report that1099 income, which I assume is subject to Connecticut Income Taxes.

I sure would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Note: The form merely says Form 1099; there is no extension ala

It is interest paid by the IRS to you, and in therefore interest income to you, properly reported on Schedule B.
