Hi have a question on taxes that need to be done for last year. I live in Pinellas Park, Florida...does any one know of some good free assistance that I can get? Either that or a tax professional or company that isn't too expensive. I need to pay the IRS enough as it is and actually have paid some but still owe more.

It's likely the same thing is true of your local AARP TaxAide counselor group. If it were January, I would advise you to check out

The reason I recommend such a location is, they probably have gotten to know the volunteers who work there, and can put you in touch with the site coordinator. Even though it's off season, he would doubtless be willing to give you some general advice and might know of a specific individual with the background to assist you.
Other than that, you might check out EA's on line (Enrolled Agents) by googling ... I know they have a national organization, and probably offer some sort of referral service. Most qualified professionals will be willing to meet with you to hear your problem, and either offer some simple suggestions or certainly quote you a price for assisting you, once they have details.
