model for new tax form?

I finally took a look at the 1040EZ-T and it is only one line long! (That is the telephone tax rebate for people with no other taxable income.)

A nitpick, but technically it's for those folks who are not required to file a tax return (nor are filing) and are eligible for the rebate. Lot's of people have no taxable income and are required to file tax returns.

And yet it still comes with 3 1/2 pages of instructions!

I guess it is a model all right...

This sounds like horrendous boondoggle to me.

Just think, anybody, teenagers and young kids too, can file this form whether or not they actually had a telephone. IRS won't check them; not a one, cause they would spend more than 30$ on each one. ChEAr$, Harlan Lunsford, EA n LA
