Have any of your clients elected to opt-out of the 2011 IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclsoure Initiative (OVDI) (or even the 2009 OVDP)?
What has been the experience/result/IRS and or Court reactions after the OVDI process has been formally rejected.
Any first-hand experiences or related thoughts about Opting Out vs.sit back and take the max penalty hit appreciated.
