When you're in Easystep mode, click on "Search Topics" to find the section related to a keyword.
When in Forms mode, you can use "Open Form" to find a form whose name contains a keyword, but there doesn't seem to be a way to search the forms themselves. But you can search the IRS publications, and they should refer you to the appropriate form.

When I click on "Open Form", there's a search box at the top where I can type in a form number or a keyword.

I thought so, too. But I just noticed that the "Open Form" window has a checkbox "Open in separate window".

Are you the same guy who posted a similar complaint last week in comp.sys.mac.apps? Didn't you see my reply there?
