As of t9day (2/26/07) there is a bug in Turbotax handeling of the Educational CRedit on form 8863. On line 6 of that form, 6a has a multiplicatioon factor of
40% and 6b has a multiplactiaon factor of 20%. The 40% factor is intended to be applied for anyone who was imacted by Katrina, and the 20% facior by anyone else. The system appears to apply the 40% factor REGARDLESS
