Where do I enter "dividend charges?"

I have some dividend charges on some stocks I held short only for a few days. Are these deductible? Please advise!

They are deductible, but not on necessarily on schedule A. If you held the stock short for

BTW, the investment interest deduction is subject to a limit -- must be less than or equal to your investment income.

Yes, and forever too. Form 4952.

Here's my list:

Charitable contributions - carried forward 5 years Capital loss carryover - forever NOL - carried forward 20 years (can also carryback 2 to 5 years, depending on the law in place at the time, then excess is carried forward)
