working in two different places and taxes

Apr 17, 2012 2 Replies

Hi everyone,

I work in two different places for two different employers, 4 days/ week in one place, 1 day/week in another place. Those two different places are located in two different school districts and municipalities. Should I be paying 'work' tax (tax paid if you work in a place but live outside of it) for both places?

Thanks in advance

That's not federal, but state specific. Can you tell us what state or states you work in?

In addition does the city you work it also require you to pay tax? Thus three localties -- one of which you are a resident, another in which you worked, a third in which you also worked. Do the localities give you a tax credit for tax paid to other localities?
