When Rupert first announced his intention to but the 69% remainder of Sky that he didn't own, the shareprice was ~ £7.
The board (who I feel are in cahoots with Rupert) said they would look favourably at £8.
Well, the price is already ~£8.
As a shareholder, I expect a significant premium on a sale - after all, a growth and dividend stock is being forceibly taken from me.
I think he will have provided enough sweeteners, eg to board and significant shareholders to get to 51%, hence approval.
I feel like I'm going to get shafted.
