A Ltd Company that my wife and I own that is now struck off (showing dissolved on companies house web site) has received a penalty fine for late filing of returns. Do we still have to pay it or can we just ignore it. The company never traded.

erm normally yes, CH can be quite nasty about fines - the best thing is not to ignore it. I had a fine for late filing but they waived it as the company was in the process of being dissolved.
