Fractional ownership

Hey, I would be really grateful if somebody could give me their opnio

of Morgan Forbes, the investment company, and their reputation. The seem okay, but who ever knows. Their current investment opportunity looks promising on first sight and I have a limited time to get it at a certain price, but dont kno whether to go beyonf the pooint of no return here. if someone coul take a look who knows about these things more, Id be very grateful t them!

Thanks

If you are asking about buying a share of a hotel in Madeira.....

I would be put off by the fact that they don't tell you enough info to work out the yield on the investment without you giving them your contact details.

Thanks, Tim.

There is a breakdown once you download the powepoint, which is fiarly specific although very forecasty about how much you'd get if the development was sold (0.1%) and how much you might get from room income based on 60% occupancy....its the normal story I suppose....I don't want to fritter 15000, but don't want to miss out on something that could pay. A lot of the promises about valuations tec do seem to come from verbal discussions though, not written.

Thanks

Similar schemes from other investment managers have led to people losing their money. Look at GuestInvest for example.

I couldn't find out how to do that without giving them my email and phone number (yes, I know I could have given them false ones, but that's not the point)

I don't think that you could miss out on a great deal.

The annual yield from similar opportunities are in the 5-8% range which isn't a lot different from putting your money on long term deposit, but with a lot more risk.

Yes, the 142% claim is a bit like a case of too good to be true...I'd b

in it for them selling up and getting my share, rather than the lon term renting thing...is that where your 5% referred to, or do you mea even if the development is sold and i get my 0.1 share.

WOW! That's about $53k per week. Not to bad I guess when you look at some of the Marriott properties where they are getting this kind of money at Marco Island or the Hawaii properties. So who has enough vacation time to take 35 days per year? The maintenance fees are 18k per year!! That's pretty rich for my type!! Thanks for all the info.

Not sure what jages has understood, but it would never produce a return like that. Just wondering if anybody knows any sneaky loopholes companies like this use to trap you. There are no maintenance fees, but the company do seem suspiciously desperate for one to invest...but maybe this is normal.

The opportunity looks good, but I just cannot help thiking something is not quite right.
