I have been contracted out of Serps for a few years now. The money has been going into a private pension. My previous employers have not had an Employment Pension scheme, they paid contributions into a Private Pension. My new employers have a Group Pension Plan, what are the rules regarding the contracted out Private Pension, must stop it or can it continue?
