Purchase financing options

Hi,

I want to buy a PC somewhere in between the middle and high-spec class taking advantage of financing options like: paying an initial deposit, and repaying the remaining balance with time without interest, or delaying the payment for the purchase for a couple of months.

The problem is, that whenever I find something suitable, it turns out, that the eligibility conditions for the given financing option are too high for me. The most common criterium is the 1-3 years long stay in the UK, whereas I have started working in the UK in February 2006. On the other hand, I have a permanent contract, good salary - I would say,

I am reliable enough :-)

Have you ever seen similar financing options, as described above, but without such stringent eligibility restrictions?

reliability doesnt come into it, track record does, I'm not sure that living here for a year counts as 'stringent'. And if all you are talking about is delaying the payment by a ciuple of months, well thats easy do it yourself, just wait two months then buy it! Chances are it will be cheaper then as well.

That's not the same. I need the computer NOW, but would like to pay for it a bit later :-)

I'd like to screw Liz Hurley, but thats probably not going to happen either :-)

Got a credit card? 5 or 6 weeks on that, if you buy just after the statement has been done.

Sadly, Barclaycard first denied me a credit card, then after my complains (I am a long time user of credit card in Poland, without any adverse history), they have offered me their most expensive one - the Visa Initial with a ridiculously low limit of 260 pounds. Unfortunately, a PC costs about twice as much ...
